Return Policy

As a newly launched service, with an aim to go global, we strive to provide customer-oriented services to our esteemed clients so they’ll be happy to come to us for all their reading needs. Please go through our Returns Policy so you can enjoy our services in a more knowledgeable way.

Overseas Customers:

  • A customer can ask for a book replacement in the following scenarios:
  • There’s a mix-up in orders and they have received a book(s) they did not ask for.
  • There are printing, binding or similar errors in the book(s) which renders the book(s) incomplete to read.
  • The customer has received a damaged copy of the book(s) such as torn pages or damaged binding.
  • In all these scenarios, we request you to click a picture of the damage you are referring to, and send us the picture within one week of receiving the book(s).
  • Please note that after this time, no request for returns will be entertained. Therefore, it is highly recommended that once you receive your parcel, go through it immediately and inspect the book(s), so any requests for returns can be made in time.
  • In case of printing errors (incomplete book, etc.), which, it’s safe to assume you may discover upon reading the book(s) at your leisure, the one-week time limit may be extended, at UA Books’ discretion.
  • Please keep in mind that in all these scenarios, same book(s) will be replaced as compensation, and no refunds will be made.

Nationwide Customers:

  • A customer can ask for a book replacement in the following scenarios:
  • There’s a mix-up in orders and they have received the book(s) they did not ask for.
  • There are printing, binding or similar errors in the book(s) which renders the book(s) incomplete to read.
  • The customer has received a damaged copy of the book(s) such as torn pages or damaged binding.
  • In all these scenarios, we request you to send us the book(s) back within one week of receiving the parcel, for return.
  • Please note that after this time, no request for returns will be entertained. Therefore, it is highly recommended that once you receive your parcel, open it immediately and inspect the book(s), so any requests for returns can be made in time.
  • In case of printing errors (incomplete book, etc.), which, it’s safe to assume you may discover upon reading the book(s) at your leisure, the one-week time limit may be extended to six weeks, at UA Books’ discretion.
  • Please keep in mind that in case of receiving the wrong book(s), the customer has the choice to choose between a book replacement and amount refund.
  • In case of returning the book(s), please ensure that it is in pristine condition. If you are returning a damaged copy, please make sure that it is not damaged further, or it may result in an unsuccessful returns request.
  • Books should be returned in their original packaging, or not return request will be entertained.
  • When returning a book(s), take proper care of the shipping arrangements so as not to damage the book(s) in transit.
  • Refunds for returns will be processed within 30 days and the customer will be notified when the refund is made.
